Faithful to the spirit of requirement and search for absolute of the house Jean Patou, the perfumer Jean Michel Duriez created Sira of the Indies. The flower of champaca, delicate and orange, originating in Mysore in India is the keystone of the fragrance. Its note of magniolia miellée avoids greedy accents (banana, pear) evolving to a wake of vanilla and sandal. The name of Sira takes as a starting point the will seera, an Indian greediness made up of honey, milk and spices. But the name can be also inspired by Sita, the goddess of femininity and the grace. Thus was born Sira of the Indies, Eastern floral greedy avoided Indian cultural richness.

The perfume opens by notes temptresses of fruits, with a greedy agreement of banana. Then the champaca of Mysore reveals its floral character miellé, avoided lacteous ylang and notes evoking plum. In bottom, amber and absolute vanilla mix with the velvety notes with the sandalwood, another undeniable Indian richness.
